We are excited to invite you to participate in Faith Promise 2025 and a special event to raise support for the July 2025 Work and Witness trip to Uganda. Please join us for a day of inspiration, fellowship, and support!
Special Speaker:
We are honored to welcome Emmalyn Jerome, CEO of Lower Lights Ministries, as our guest speaker. Emmalyn is a former missionary kid who was raised in various countries around the world. Her inspiring story and passion for ministry will be shared during both services.
Service Times:
Emmalyn will speak during both the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services. We encourage you to attend one of these services and hear how you can be part of our Faith Promise commitment for 2025.
Soup and Salad Lunch 12:30 PM
Location: Church Gym
Following Emmalyn’s message, please join us for a Soup and Salad Lunch to support the July 2025 Work and Witness trip to Uganda. This event will raise funds for supplies needed for the mission trip, including materials that will be purchased once the team arrives in Uganda. We are grateful for your support as we send our team to serve in Uganda.
Luncheon Details:

$10 per person
$5 for children (10 and under) - Menu:
Enjoy a variety of soups, salads, and all the fixings, including rolls, cornbread, desserts, and your choice of tea, coffee, and lemonade. The luncheon will be prepared by our talented chefs: Chef Barb Eckhardt and Chef Penny Bonham.

Special Speaker Bio:
Emmalyn Jerome, JD, MTS
Emmalyn Jerome is the Executive Director of Lower Lights Ministries, a nonprofit focused on transforming communities in Franklinton and Hilltop. With over 12 years of experience at Lower Lights, Emmalyn has a proven track record of leadership. Her journey started as a House Manager at a re-entry program for women, and she has since taken on various roles, ultimately stepping into the Executive Director position in 2022.
Emmalyn’s background blends corporate leadership in Human Resources with a deep commitment to faith. Holding both a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Theological Studies, she is passionate about lifelong learning and community impact. She actively leads Bible studies at the Ohio Reformatory for Women, where she has seen the power of redemption firsthand.
A district-licensed minister, Emmalyn is on the path to ordination, guided by her belief in the dignity of every person and the transformative power of compassion, education, and faith. When she’s not working, she enjoys connecting with her local community in Franklinton and exploring independent bookstores and coffee shops.
Emmalyn’s story is one of unwavering dedication to faith and community transformation—values that inspire others to engage in meaningful change.
